Frequently Asked Questions

All of our hair can be dyed, curled, bleached, flat ironed, wanded, etc.

What products do you recommend? Please visit our "Hair Care" section for all details. Please keep in mind that each bundle is from a different donor and a product that you always use, may not work the same on your new Virgin Hair. We do NOT recommend Suave, VO5 and TREsemme, Dove or Pantene, as they all have sulfate in them that strips your hair of its natural oils. 

How many bundles do I need for a full sew in: If you are wearing your hair 16" or shorter, you will need a minimum of 2 bundles (8oz). If you are wearing your hair 18" or longer, you will need a minimum of 3 bundles (12oz, the longer the hair the shorter the width of the weft, very long lengths you will need 4-5 bundles)..

What is the difference in Premium & Platinum? To the naked eye, there is not a difference. 

There are less mixed length hairs in our Platinum bundle. (I.E. A premium bundle of 18" will also have 16" hair in the bundle)

How long will our hair last?     All of our hair can last over a year plus,  with proper care.

What colors does your hair come in? 1b natural brown. We do have additional colors available by custom request, please email us to order.

Can I change my order once submitted? We offer our customers the maximum amount of flexibility to adjust their orders while shopping; however, once the checkout process has been completed, our Customer Service Dept. is unable to modify orders for security reasons. If you need to change your order and the processing period has begun, your order will be subjected to a 15% re-stocking fee. If you would like to change your order, please email Customer Service at sales@uniquehairnmore.com to cancel the order you wish to change and place a new one with the corrected information. 

Are returns or exchanges subject to a restocking fee?  Any return or exchange may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. This fee may be waived for the following reasons:

-Carrier Damage

-Received incorrect product

-Product was an extra item not ordered

Note: Any return that is misrepresented as being any of the above reasons will automatically have the restocking fee applied even if it was initially waived.

 


When will I receive my order?
(Please check the "shipping information" section on our page for the exact day) You will receive your order within 4-7 business days after your order is received. If hair is not in stock, please allow 7-10 business days. If it is a special order please allow 14 business days, as the hair is custom made to order. Once your order is shipped you will receive your tracking number after 2:30 PM PST.

Does straight hair wave after washing?
No, it remains straight. You will have to purchase curly/wave hair to obtain that look.

How many ounces are in your bundles?
4 ounces

Does your hair shed?
Let's be honest with ourselves, all hair sheds, however our hair has minimal shedding. 

How often will you have sales?
Sales are at our discrection, however it is our goal to have holiday sales as much as possible.

How is hair measured? Straight hair comes true to length, wavy and curly hair is at it's true length when the hair is stretched.
